Musical Contributions from Waverly Ukes

CHURCH LIFE

Souper Bowl Sunday:  Waverly Heights is pleased to report that we were able to collect 1,664 pounds of food (with each contributed dollar counting as one pound of food) for the Mainspring Portland food pantry.

Easter Bake Sale:  On Easter Sunday immediately following worship Waverly Heights will host a bake sale.  Bring your pies, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, rolls, bread, brownies to church on Easter Sunday, then right after worship you’ll have the opportunity to buy delicious baked goods that someone else has prepared! You can eat some on the spot during Fellowship Hour or have something special to bring home for Easter dinner.
Do bring cash or a checkbook, as we won’t be able to accept credit cards or electronic transfers.
Our bake sale will be a fundraiser to help with the much-needed repairs to get Camp Adams ready to welcome campers once again.

Waverly Ukes: Meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 6:00 PM in Hyde Hall. New members are always welcome!

Church Council:  The March  meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18 in Hyde Hall from 7:00 – 8:30.

Share Your Closet!  The Waverly community continues to support the work of Hygiene4All by sharing clothing, gently warn or warn but wearable, with the unhoused community of Portland’s Central Eastside. Check your closets and bring your donations to the red barrel in the Waverly narthex. To learn more about the work of Hygiene4All, click here
